Company Policy

To promote a safe space that values not only your time and wellness, as well as that of myself and other clients, all clients will be asked to review and agree to the following.

  • I understand that I am to arrive to my session showered or bathed.

  • I understand that I will not arrive to my session with a currently active communicable infection.

  • I understand that, while the work I receive today may assist in relief of physical or emotional symptoms, it is in no way a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by the appropriate medical professional and will not interfere with the plans of my qualified medical professionals.

  • I understand that massage therapy services are for the primary purpose of short-term relaxation and the relief of muscular tension or spasm. The individual providing services today is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments.

  • I understand that Reiki is a simple, gentle, hands-on energy technique that is used for stress reduction and relaxation; is not considered medical care and that it is recommended I see a qualified healthcare practitioner for any physical or psychological ailment I may have.

  • I understand that all information provided to me is educational in nature and is to be applied at my own risk.

  • I am aware that this is a non-sexual massage. Any misconduct or inappropriate behavior in that arena will result in the immediate termination of the massage. I further understand that I will be expected to pay for the full amount for my prearranged appointment costs.

  • I understand that I am always in control of my body during my session and will feel free to comment on the comfort or discomfort to the amount of pressure or type of stroke used, as well as level of exposure I allow at any time. I can say “stop” at any time during the session.

  • I understand that some forms of work performed by my practitioner will be fully clothed while others are unclothed. If unclothed I will be fully covered with a sheet (aka drape) and blanket at all times exposing only the part of my body being worked on at any given time.

  • I agree to pay by cash, check or Venmo immediately following my session. If payment is made by a check that is returned, I agree to pay an additional $20 service fee.

  • I understand that either myself or my therapist can stop the session at any time if necessary.

Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance – no fee or payment due.

    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance – 50% of appointment costs

    • No Show – 100% of appointment cost.

    • If I am going to be late for an appointment, I agree to call/text as soon as possible and I understand that my time will be shortened as a result.
